I'm posting photos I've taken over the years. Some from High School. Some from College. Some on vacation. Some just walking around DUMBO. I invite you to look and hopefully find something that makes you want to refocus on what you see.
Colors and shapes have always caught my attention. The rusty hex-nut. The shadow cast by a leaf, a rock, a shell. The tones of brown and yellow in beach sand. Sometimes you have to step up close. Sometimes you have to step back. Sometimes you press the shutter release and pray. But, if you make the effort, you get rewarded.
I've loved taking photos since I played with a Polaroid camera growing up. My first 35mm SLR, a Pentax K-1000 was manual but, had an internal light meter. I used it for my first B&W photography and darkroom class one summer in High School. In College it was with me for both B&W and Color classes. Today, everything is digital, but some of my favorites here started out on film/slides with the Pentax.
